What is your passion in life?

Steve Jobs once said, "You can not do great things in life, if you are not doing what you love." I believe this is so true. As people, we go through school majoring or minoring in subjects we will never utilize in the real world. We spend hours, minutes even days studying for exams and tests that give us no progress in the path to our passion in life. If exams and tests give us anything, they give us a lot of headaches. So, the question is, what is your passion in life?

There is probably no other man dedicated to his passion than Steve Jobs in this era and that is to create consumer products (technology) that are not only fun to use but innovative and creative(i.e. iPod and the iPhone, need I say more?). Now, this blog is not about "Steve Jobs" or the "Secret Diary of Steve Jobs" but Steve is a wonderful example of what it truly means to follow and do what you love-your passion! It is at the heart of this blog to share and express the myriad of passions or donorisms people have. No subject will be left out because as far as I know, everybody has "a passion for an ism."

What is your passion in life?

Michael Vick, what is his donorism?

Vick, Vick, Vick, it is a sad truth to know what has happen with the whole Michael Vick situation-persecuted before prosecuted(showing my bias). However, we now know that Vick has agreed to a plea deal and that at some point he "will" serve some jail time. What does this have to do with Donorism? Well, it has a lot to do with it! Micheal Vick's obvious passion (I will use passion and donorism interchangeablely) in life was to play the game he loves-football. In the short term, that is not an option for him anymore.

In Vick's public apology today, he mentioned that he will have a lot of time to work on the person "Michael Vick" instead of the sports icon "Michael Vick", somewhere in there you can also add his streetcred. So however your sentiments are about the whole "dog-gate" situation, the Donorism family wishes Vick good luck! Finally, in the long term, Vick will have to find a new donorism in life, hopefully it does not entail the initials "D.F."

Btw, you can watch the public apology here.
